The restaurant and the kitchen are felt as the heart of the service at the Lavarella mountain hut. Tasty and healthy dishes are of major importance for every mountain lover coming to visit us: trekkers, bikers, hikers, skiers, snowshoe travellers or a family taking a walk in the Dolomites of Fanes Sennes Braies.
The owner, Michaela Frenner, is a passionate and enthusiastic chef. The kitchen is her reign, where she continuously keeps up to date with cooking courses and innovations, always looking for new and better recipes.
We serve typical mountain dishes of the Ladin tradition and of South Tyrol. But we also offer the healthy and light recipes of the Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. Try our special juicy meat dishes and our delicious desserts. During the whole cooking process we put great care in the selection of regional, fresh and natural ingredients.
During the summer high season, the restaurant is open also during the afternoon.
